How do I care for my board?

• Just use soap and hot water to clean your board and do not wash in the dishwasher.   
• Dry your board standing upright and do not leave in standing water
  
• White vinegar can also be used to disinfect and remove harsh odors.
  
• Rub our Davis & Davis board wax onto your board once a month to maintain the finish, prevent cracking and seal against bacteria and moisture.
  

I have allergies, what finish is on the board?

A crafted mixture of food grade mineral oil and bees wax 

Does my board come with a board wax?

It certainly does! Each customer receives a 2 oz. container of our board wax. Use a dry cloth and apply the wax to both sides of the board once a month.  

Is there a warranty?

If you are not satisfied with your piece, please contact us and we will try to our best to make it right.  We like our customers happy! 

How does shipping and taxes work?

• Shipping costs $5 and 6% PST is charged for all Canadian addresses. Boards usually arrive within 12 business days from the date of your order and we typically ship Canada Post.
• For all addresses outside of Canada, please email us at [email protected] and we will give you an estimate for your shipping before you order.   
  

The piece I wanted is marked as "sold", can you make another?

Since every board is unique, we can not exactly replicate a board that has been previously sold, but we will most certainly try!  Email us at [email protected] with any special requests and we'll try to make it happen!

Can you refinish my board when it gets worn?

We sure can! Although our solid hardwood boards are extremely durable, they will still get nicked up with knife marks....but don't fret, this just adds character!  With that being said, if you would like your board to be refinished, we can do that too!  Please contact us for more information at [email protected]
